THE START – SALES
Rob Franco wears multiple hats at Total Sports Surfaces. Not only is Rob the president, but will be your point of contact for design, pricing, scheduling and project management. He has had a unique and varied career in the sport industry. Recently retired after coaching club soccer for 20 years along with previously being a general manager of a 60,000 square foot indoor sports facility. Rob will use uses his personal experience in the indoor sports industry to help facility owners make the best decisions for their company. Since TSS completes more indoor projects per year than any other indoor specific turf company, they will use their experience finishing projects throughout the country for the beneift of your facility. If you are a facility owner/manager, feel free to call Rob to discuss anything involving your indoor sports facility. Rob is also currently a vice president of a manufacturing company that has serviced the sport and playground industry for over 30 years. His manufacturing background gives him a variety of contacts in the sport builder industry that not many people can match. Dave Wilcox acts as a sales advisor and installation crew chief. Dave has over 35 years of experience completing installation projects for indoor sports facilities. He uses his vast experience to help customers during the planning stages of projects.
THE MIDDLE – PRODUCTS
When it comes to Total Sports Surfaces, we only sell and install premium long lasting high quality materials. At TSS we feel it is vital to the successful complition of your project that inferior material is not used during the bid process.
TURF – Total Sports Surfaces only offers turf from one of the most well respected manufacturers in the country. Like many situations, with artificial turf, you get what you pay for. It doesn’t matter if it is in-fill turf or non-infill turf. TSS will provide only the highest quality artificial surface at an affordable project price.
RUBBER TSS offers the industry standard rubber infill made from car tires. We also offer a premium rubber infill that is made from industrial scrap rubber that does not contain any rubber made from recycled car tires. If your facility wants a rubber infill that isn’t made from car tire rubber, speak to the experts at TSS.
GLUE – When it comes to an adhesive, you want a product with a proven track record and a company that uses the correct amount. TSS uses Mapei products, an industry leader, and TSS crew chiefs use their 100-year combined installation experience to make sure the adhesive is applied correctly with the proper amount.
NETTING – TSS purchases netting that is made in the USA. This helps to ensure that the quality of the netting is consistent from job to job. We offer a wide variety of netting that can have a mesh opening of 1 1/2″ or 3 1/2″. Installation can be completed with either cable or tracking depending on your specific situation.
Boarded System – Like our nets, the Boarded/Glass system we offer is made in the USA. Our system is engineered to be extremely durable (support post every 4′) with total customer flexibility (customer can choose from 4′, 6′, 8′ or 10′ height)
THE FINISH – INSTALLATION
Your project is off and running. You are happy with the design. You are confident with the material being used. Now comes the most important part, the installation. The installation crew is vital to the long-term success of your project. At TSS, we can’t stress enough how important the installers are to a finished project. Our installation team is run by Manuel Marquez. Manuel has over 35 years experience successful completing indoor projects. Ask any facility owner and they probably have used Manuel or have heard of him. At TSS our installers are employees of TSS. We do not use sub-contractors who may or may not care about the long-term success of your project.
